MCOMM recently had the opportunity to go back to school, and unlike our video crew’s first 16 years or so of primary and secondary education, this time was a lot of fun.

We began our reentry into academia by visiting a bunch of 3rd graders, who enthusiastically shared with us what they thought the world was like twenty years ago. Did you know there was no electricity way back in the 90s? Nope. It seems like that whole electricity thing didn’t happen till somewhere around 2001. You can meet our 3rd grade pals and hear all the wonderful things they had to say on MCOMM’s Portfolio Page.

Next we took time to talk with several awesome high school students about drones and how they can be used to capture video. Our new BFFs checked out a few of MCOMM’s RC copters, and then flew (and of course crashed) a couple in the school gymnasium. A great way to spend the morning! If you follow our blog, you know that we’ve been capturing video with drones for a couple of years. To find out more, you can read this previous blog entry.

So hey, thanks to the great 3rd grade class at St. Helen’s, and to the amazing Patriots of Carroll High School for allowing us to drop by. I hope you enjoyed our visit, and maybe even learned a thing or two.

Oh heck, who am I kidding? It was great just to talk about the old days and crash a bunch of stuff.

Until next time.
